What the Flash Pass does not include
No reporting, no analysis, no alerts by email or text, and no promise that a city posts on time or at all. Ohio News Flash shows what the cities publish, when they publish it. It is not an emergency alert service: in an emergency call 911.
Plain terms
When checkout opens:
- The Flash Pass renews each month or year until you cancel it in PayPal. Cancelling keeps the Pass until the end of the period you paid for.
- If the Pass ends, nothing you saved is deleted: the Flash Sheet keeps its cities and words, but only the free share (the first 2 cities and the first 3 words) is used, and the private feed stops.
- The Pass belongs to one Flash Sheet: keep that sheet's private link. There are no accounts, so a lost link cannot be recovered. A sheet with a renewing Pass cannot be deleted until you cancel the Pass in PayPal.
- Prices are in US dollars. No selling of your data. The public reading pages show one banner ad, kept apart from the city posts and described under Privacy; Flash Sheets and private feeds show none.
Ohio News Flash is in preview. There is no checkout yet, so there is nothing to buy today. Prices at launch will be these, paid through PayPal.
